Spring Meeting
The Spring Outing this year was played at Lundin Golf Club on 16th April 2023
Winners: Scratch Medal - Dave Campbell, Ross Cup (Handicap) - Innes Christie
Lothians Team Tournament
The 3 man scratch stroke play team event took take place on 29th April at Castle Park GC where our team of Elliot Innes, Stuart Langlands and Dave Campbell finished 5th and retained the Walker Trophy as the highest placed non-course owning club.
Dispatch Trophy
The two Heriots teams in this years event met at the semi-final stage with Scott Dickson, Stuart Langlands, Sam Hall & Steven Sinclair beating last year's defending champions Dave Campbell, John Archibald, Innes Christie and Scott Johnston. Unfortunately, they went down 4&2 to a very good Duddingston side in the final.
Summer Meeting
The Summer outing to Muirfield and Gullane was well attended and proved to be a very successful evening.
At Muirfield, Sam Hall won the Morrison Quaich with a scratch 68, the Linton Medal was won by Rognvald Linklater with 38 points and the guest winner was Davy Downing with 34 points. Peter Fantom won the Middleton Trophy at Gullane 3 with 42 points.
The Edinburgh Trophy
The 6 man team event will be played at Prestonfield Golf Club on 20th August against Edinburgh Accies, Watsonians and Stewarts Melville Golf Clubs.
The Lindsay Stewart Trophy
The 3 man scratch stroke play team event for those under the age of 35, played in conjunction with the Edinburgh Trophy, will be played at Prestonfield Golf Club on 20th August.
Autumn Tour
The triennial Autumn tour will take place from Friday 29th September to Sunday 1st October, playing at Goswick, Alnmouth and Dunstanburgh Castle Golf Clubs.
Queen Elizabeth Coronation Schools Tournament
The tournament will take place over the weekend of Friday 15th to Sunday 17th of September at Royal Burgess Golf Club.
Grafton Morrish Trophy
The Grafton Morrish takes place over the weekend of 5th to 8th October at Hunstanton and Brancaster in Norfolk.
Playing in the Scottish qualifiying round at Mortonhall on Sunday 7th May, our team of Dave Campbell, Scott Dickson, Steven Sinclair, Fraser Christie, Elliot Innes and Sam Hall have qualified for the finals. They will be joined by Watsonians and Glasgow Accies.
Sivewright Quaich
This is a 4 man handicap knock out tournament that takes place throughout the year with the final always being played over Prestonfield Golf Club.
